Alquin
Alqin is a young software company focused on mobile business apps. Our goal is to make work processes simpler, faster, and more reliable. Our solutions are designed for organizations and public institutions that want to work efficiently outside the office, whether directly on-site or in interactions with stakeholders. Close collaboration with practitioners results in applications that noticeably simplify everyday work.
The name reflects a method: "Alq" is "Class" spelled backward, the building block that gives a program its structure. "In" comes from "include" and represents the ability to integrate and extend existing components. Two simple concepts that together describe what constitutes good software and what has driven Alqin since its founding in Zurich in 2025.
With Profund, its first proprietary application, Alqin offers a mobile solution for the public sector. The application enables the fully digital creation of medical reports. Clear structures, intuitive operation, and legal compliance are paramount. The solution was developed in close collaboration with debt enforcement offices in the Canton of Zurich to precisely reflect real-world workflows.
Alqin's work is characterized by customer focus, high quality standards, and the use of stable, modern technologies. Continuous exchange with users and IT partners forms the basis for practical solutions that prove their worth in everyday use.
